Four Masters GAA Reports

Four Masters Reserves ran out comfortable winners in the end with a margin of six points in this game against St Eunans.  four masters gaa logo

Going in at half-time leading 0-9pts to 0-8pts, with points scored by Benny Cassidy, Gavin Bennett, Shane Carr, Connor Mc Monagle and Emmett Doogan.

In the second half, Ray Bolgan hit our first goal to make it 1-9 to 0-10 and Paddy Reid scoring a goal to make it 2-13 to 1-12, with further points scored by Gavin Bennett, Connor Mc Monagle, Paddy Reid and Emmett Doogan.

Good play in goals by Sean Martin with kick outs also taking of a superb save in the second half that was goal bound, he was served well by defenders, Enda Bonner Shane Carr and Kieran Cornyn.

This was an extremely good victory considering a lot of players on holidays or unavailable for this match and keeps this team on top of table, still unbeaten in the league with seven wins.

Four Masters Seniors lose to St Eunans
Four Masters 2-9 St Eunans 1-9

St Eunans opened the scoring with two quick points before Peadar Espey set Four Masters on their way with a point from play.

Further points were scored by Kevin Mc Brearty, Ramie Mc Grory,Peadar Espey , Connor Mc Daid and Paul Durcan from a long range free kick, to leave a half time score of Four Masters 0-06 St Eunans 1-05.

Second half St Eunans where quicker of the mark with a long ball in they had their second goal with Conal Dunne firing past Paul Durcan in goals.

Both teams exchanged points with Peadar Espey scoring two points from frees and Darren Doherty found the net to make it 2-08 to 1-07.

Shane Carr was fouled and penalty awarded but the St Eunans goalkeeper John Paul Cleary made a good save from Ramie mc Grory’s kick.

Last Point came from Paul Durcan from a 45m, to leave the final score 2-09 to 1-09.
