GOLF NEWS: PRESIDENT’S DAY APPROACHING AT DUNFANAGHY

Dunfanaghy Golf Notes

Another busy week in the sunshine at Dunfanaghy, with President’s day approaching the course is in great shape and is a credit to Paul and his team.  GOLF LOGO

Preparations are well under way for the final of the Ryder cup competition, any member able to assist on the day contact the clubhouse, best of luck to all teams involved in the final.

Match-play competitions are also in full swing and members are asked to get matches played in good time.

Now that the school holidays have begun the numbers of Juveniles out on the course is dramatically increased with everybody getting in some practise ahead of the first major of the year which takes place this Saturday with the Presidents Prize to Juveniles.

The winners last week were the Cousins Michael Dolan in the Cadet Section and Edward O Reilly in the main section.

They will both be hoping that they did not peak a week too early.
