GAA NEWS: NAOMH MUIRE U16s GET LEAGUE CAMPAIGN OFF GROUND AGAINST NAOMH CONAILL

Next 100 Club Draw will take place on Wednesday 25th June. Can all sellers have their subs in with the co-ordinator by Sunday 22nd as agreed by committee,so the draw can be run off on the 25th.

Lotto Jackpot this week is €1220.

Peil na mBan; The U-12 girls were at a blitz at The Burn Road, in Termon on Saturday. Thanks to An Tearmann for a well run blitz and the ladies who provided refreshments for the teams and parents. Feature of the day was an A&B Matches, featuring a Gaeltacht Alliance Naomh Muire/Gaoth Dobhair V An Tearmann and the winner here was certainly the Gaeltacht with Gaeilge been the predominant language from all three teams in these games. Maith sibh!

 

Ladies Training/Games for this Week. U10/U12 Girls is on Thursdays from 5.30 to 6-30pm.

Thurs; From 6.30 to 7.30 training is for U14-U16-Minors and ladies.

U14 County semi-final Naomh Muire V Milford is set for the 24th June,time and venue to be confirmed later in the week.

Senior ladies play Glenswilly this Saturday 21st in The Banks, tbc.

The Best of luck to Jade & Robbie O’Donnell on Sunday 22nd who will be on duty with the county ladies team as they play Armagh in the Ulster Semi-final in Lisnaskea, Co.Fermanagh at 5pm. Supporters on your way back from Clones drop in an support the ladies on their quest to get to the Ulster final and hopefully a treble of wins for Donegal on Sunday.

 

The U-16 boys begin their division 1 league campaign at home to Naomh Conaill this Wednesday in the banks with throw-in at 6pm. Good luck for the season ahead. Under 8 training every Wednesday at 6 and Saturday morning at 10. Under 10 training every Tuesday at 6.15 andSaturday at 10. The under 14 boys had a great battle with kilcar in the championship and went down by a goal. They play away to Naomh ultan this Thursday evening where a win will secure a place in the semifinals.

 

The senior and reserve teams both lost narrowly to Bundoran at the weekend. There is no game this weekend due to the Donegal game. The next league game will be at home to Na Cealla Beaga on Sunday 29th June.
