The beautiful location of Dunlewey Lake at Ionad Cois Locha was the venue on Sunday last for the third Regatta of the Donegal rowing Season. images (5)

Over 40 teams competed on a day when Donegal were playing in Clones and the Donegal International Rally was taking place close by.

There was also a very large spectator attendance. This is an indication of how rowing, as a competitive and spectator sport, is growing in Donegal.

With Errigle as a backdrop for this event, teams battled it out across 9 categories.

The results were as follows;

U14 Boys 1st CCF 2nd Donegal Bay

U16 Boys 1st Loughros Point 2nd Inver 3rd Donegal Bay
