FOUR MASTERS U16’S GET SEASON OFF TO A GOOD START WITH VICTORY OVER AODH RUADH

Well done: Congrats to U16 team on winning their first game against Aodh Ruadh.

Schools blitz: a great schools blitz took place at Tir Conaill Park on Tuesday 24th June. The Gaelscoil, Killymard and St. Francis were in attendance and an entertaining round of games were held. Well done to organiser Pauric Harvey.

County Team: well done to the county team on their defeat of Antrim and on reaching yet another Ulster Final.

Under 10 boys: Our under 10 boys played their third blitz in as many weeks on Saturday when they hosted teams from Killybegs naomh Ultan and Naomh Mhuire.

After a slow start in their first game against Killybegs the A team rallied in the second half to earn a deserved draw.

They went on to win their other two contests. The B team won both their games also. Well done to all the boys who played on the day.

Thanks goes to the teams who travelled to the refs Greg Mc Groary Owen Doherty and Pauric Harvey and as always the ladies who made and served the refreshments.

The final of the Kevin Faulkner memorial takes place this Wednesday evening 25th at 6 pm.

Lotto: there was no winner of the jackpot this week.

The two lucky dip winners were Terence McGinley, Dunkineely and Ian McCauley, Driminin.

Both receive €50 each. Numbers drawn were 11, 12, 15 & 22. The next draw takes place on 14th July. Jackpot now stands at €2700.

End of year draw: 1st prize of €1000 went to Martin Kenny, Doonan. 2nd, €500, Jim Donagher, Ball Hill. 3rd, €500, Patricia Furey, Dublin. 4th, €250, Aaron McGettigan. 5th, €250, Mary Kelly, Donegal Post Office. 6th €100, Damien Timoney, Castle Street. 7th Martin Higgans, Leghawney €100. 8th Joe O’Grady, Drumglebe, €100. 9th, Lawrence McCarrow, The Glebe, €100. 10th, Hugh Devanney, Laghey, €100.
