GAA NEWS: GLENSWILLY THIRDS BEATEN BUT REMAIN TOP OF LEAGUE

GLENSWILLY GAA NOTES Glenswilly GAA Club

The 3rd team suffered their first defeat of the season away to Pettigo last Saturday evening. They currently sit top of the league but will be taking a break from league action for a while now with the Junior B championship due to be played on Saturday 5th July away to Robert Emmets. The Seniors and Reserves return to league action this week with an away game to near neighbours St. Eunans on Sunday 29th June. Throw in 1.30 and 3pm.

The Ladies team travelled to Naomh Mhuire on Saturday evening and suffered a defeat, next up is a home game against Killybegs on Sunday 29th June, time to be confirmed.

The Minor team are due to play Lifford on Monday 30th June in Glenswilly at 7.30pm in the Minor Championship.

The U16 boys play Naomh Colmcille on Friday 27th June in Glenswilly at 7.30pm.

The U14 boys eagerly await the Northern Board Div 3 championship final against Downings which is due to be played on the week end of 4/5/6 July.

Congratulations to Michael, Neil and Cormac on their success with the Donegal Senior and Minor teams last Sunday. We are all looking forward to the Ulster Final on July 20th in Clones. Ticket orders should be sent in writing or email to Sharon McGinty before Wednesday 9th July. Email address is mcgintysharon@eircom.net.

The monthly club meeting will take place on Monday 30th June at 9pm.

The Kelloggs GAA summer camps are coming up on the 7th to 14th of July, Registration is available through Paddy Mc Ginty on 087 9210846.
