Darragh McDonagh, 30, had been ejected form the centre by security staff on October 8th last year.

When Gardai arrived McDonagh, of 10 Orchard Court, tried to walk away and pushed a member of the public.

He was pursued by Gardai and ten turned around and tried to punch the Garda.

He was eventually pepper-srpayed and arrested with the help of an of-duty member of the Gardai.

Solicitor Kieran Dillon said there was a medical history in the background of Mr McDoangh’s case.

He said he suffers from epilepsy and had no structure in his life.

However, he said he was trying to sort his life and was now in a different position going forward.

Judge Paul Kelly adjourned the case and ordered a probation for September 22nd next.
