GAA NEWS: URRIS FACE RED HUGHS IN JUNIOR A CHAMPIONSHIP THIS WEEKEND

GOOD LUCK: To all the boys and girls taking part in the Keelogg’s GAA Cul Camp being run by the club in Straid this week-Monday to Friday.

CLUB IORRAS WINNERS FOR JUNE: €50-John Farren, Ardagh, €30-Barney Friel, Boston and €20-Paul Friel, Boston.

Thanks to all who support our monthly Club Iorras Draw.

SENIOR & RESERVES: Both teams played Red Hughs in Straid on Saturday night, mixed results for both teams. The Seniors lost out narrowly by one point -final score Urris 1-09, Red Hughs 1-10. Reserves had a good win beating Red Hughs by 3-08 to 0-11.

JUNIOR A CHAMPIONSHIP: Seniors away to Red Hugh’s in Killygordon next weekend , at time of going to press not sure which day this match takes place, please check our Facebook page for details.

MATCH “N” WIN: June 26th: No jackpot winner, numbers drawn: 3, 6, 10 & 19. €15 winners: Lexie Doherty, Tirmaine, Shaun, Sleadrin, Sammy Harkin, Urrismana, Billy Gibbons, Ballyhallion & Kathleen & Elisha C/o Bingo.

Jackpot next week €1,740. Thanks to all our Lotto sellers and to all who support this weekly draw.

LADIES FOOTBALL: our ladies are home to Cloughaneeely on Sunday next in Straid at 12.00 noon. Training for the ladies now moved to Wednesday night’s at 7.30pm in Straid.

U14 GIRLS: Good luck to our girls who play N. Columba in the County B Semi-final this Friday evening at 6.30pm in Straid. Support most welcome.

U16: The lads were beaten by a strong Carndonagh team last week in the U16 B semi-final in Muff.

UNDERAGE FIXTURES FOR COMING WEEK: U10’s away to Muff on Tuesday night at 6.30pm.

U12’s home to Muff on Tuesday night at 6.30pm. U10 girls home to Moville on Saturday morning at 11.00am.

BOOT EXCHANGE SCHEME: for Under-age players now up and running:

In these times of financial constraints on families the club has introduced this exchange programme-old football boots in good condition that children have out grown can be dropped in or exchanged for a bigger/smaller pair as required.

A minimum donation of €5 to the club for the boots that are taken away.

All boots can be dropped off in the cage at all Under-age training/matches.
