MAN ESCAPES INJURY AFTER HOUSEFIRE IN LETTERKENNY

A man escaped injury after a housefire broke out in Drumahoagh, Letterkenny on Saturday afternoon.FIRE SERVICE

The fire broke out around 2.30pm and two tenders from the local fire service attended.

When the emergency services arrived on scene, the owner was outside the dwelling.

The fire had spread to the roof of the single-storey building.

The fire service brought the fire under control and nobody was injured.

A spokesman for the fire service said the cause of the fire has still not been established.
