The Donegal boxer was greeted to a massive reception at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
And among the thousands in the crowd were many who travelled from Ballybofey to support him.
They didn’t have long to wait to see Jason get his first ever professional win under his belt – exactly one minute and 22 seconds of the first round.
The fight was scheduled to last four rounds but lean and mean Jason got stuck into Florida’s Howard Reece and finished it with the referee stepping in to stop the fight and declare a technical knock-out.
Quigley is on the undercard tonight for the Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez’s fight with Erislandy Lara.
It was a great debut for him.
And there are celebrations back in Donegal as fight fans look forward to following an athlete who delighted us all as an amateur – and looks like being the real thing as a Pro.
