Three people were forced to swim to safety after their boat overturned near Loughross Point in Ardara.
The Aranmore LIfeboat
The Arranmore Lifeboat rushed to the scene when the catamaran got into difficulty.
The drama was spotted by a man walking on the shoreline around midday.
Nobody was injured and the boat is now being towed to Rosbeg.
