GAA NEWS: LETTERKENNY GAELS U21’S IN CHAMPIONSHIP ACTION AGAINST AODH RUADH NEXT WEEK

The Senior and Reserve teams are free again this weekend. Training continues as usual at Pairc na nGael every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm. New players always welcome.

Our U-21 lads are in action next Tuesday in the 1st round of the “A” Championship against Aodh Rua in Ballyshannon. All support welcome.

Well done to Oisin Cannon and the Donegal Minors on their win over Roscommon at the weekend. Good luck in the semi-final. Hopefully the Senior lads will make it a double All-Ireland semi.

The U-16 Hurlers performed well against Aodh Rua last week. This Thursday evening they welcome Setanta to Pairc na nGael.

The U-13 team were beaten by a strong St. Michaels outfit last Wednesday evening. They are free this week. Training is on Friday at 5.30pm.

Lotto numbers for this weekend were 14, 19, 25 & 26. No jackpot winner. Lucky dip match 2 winner is Rory O’Donnell c/o Pin Tavern.

U-6 & U10 Football continues every Sunday morning at 11am at Pairc na nGael while the U-8’s is on both Sunday morning & Wednesday evening from 7-8pm.

On the Camogie front our secondary school team played Four Masters girls in a challenge match at Pairc na nGael. The Gaels won this highly competitive game.

The U-12 girls will travel to Clones on Saturday to take part in the Ulster Caman to Clones blitz.

Camogie training continues every Tuesday evening at Pairc na nGael from 6-7pm for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th class. 5th, 6th class & Secondary school on Monday evening 6-7.30pm at Pairc na nGael. Contact 086 8163605 for information. New players welcome.

Hurling training for U-6, U-8, U-10 and U-12 continues at the pitch every Thursday evening from 6.30-7.30pm. Hurley’s and helmets provided for training.

Sympathy is extended to Danny Ryan and family on their recent bereavement.
