And now Donegal captain Michael Murphy is set to open his own sports empire!

The Glenswilly man has signed a deal to open Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure which will be located in Letterkenny.

A Facebook page about the shop, which will be located at the Station Roundabout, last night revealed the venture will be opening soon.

Fans of the GAA star have been sending him best wishes and messages of congratulations on the venture.

And before the doors even open, the young man who has given fans what seems like a lifetime of service, already has hundreds of followers on Facebook.
