GAA NEWS: RED HUGHS EARN FANTASTIC CHAMPIONSHIP WIN OVER ROBERT EMMETS

Senior Men

The lads had a great victory over Robert Emmets at home on Sunday ending the Castlefin men’s chances. Of progressing to the quarter finals.

Despite going six points clear at one stage in the first half the Emmets lads to their credit never gave up and clawed their way back into the game.

With five minutes to go it was all square. The Reds scored two late points to win the game. The final score was Red Hugh’s 1-14 Robert Emmets 3-6

Next game is away to Naomh Ultan in the final game of the group stage of the championship. Hopefully we can make it four wins from four. Good luck lads Throw in is 3pm

The under 21’s play Fanad this Tuesday evening at 7pm in the quarter final of the championship. Good luck to the team and management.

Minor Board

All county blitz for u12 girls in Colaisigh Aileach Letterkenny this Saturday at 10.30am.Registration at 10am.Bus leaving the pitch at 9.30am.

The under 13 boys are away to Moville on Wednesday evening in their second game of their league campaign. Throw in 7.30pm

Lotto & 100+ Club Results

There was no winning sequence this week. Lucky dip winner of €30 was Margaret Ewing Dromore.

This weeks 100+ Club winner was number 90 Sean Quinn Fuels Ballybofey.

The club extends their sympathy to the Mc Ginty Family Glencovitt on their recent bereavement.
