GAA NEWS: NAOMH COLMCILLE U21’S EARN CHAMPIONSHIP WIN OVER NAOMH BRID

The seniors and reserves had no fixtures this weekend.

The U16s lost out to Malin by the narrowest of margins in the Division 2 league semi-final at Pairc Colmcille on Monday evening.

Naomh Colmcille lead for most of the match, but two late goals and a point in the last few minutes of the match sealed a one point win for the visitors.

Full time score Naomh Colmcille 3-4 2-8 Malin.

The U21s hosted Naomh Brid in the U21B Championship on Tuesday evening and emerged victorious on a final score of Naomh Colmcille 1-8 2-4 Naomh Brid.

The Naomh Colmcille Sports Day scheduled for Sunday was cancelled due to the weather. See Facebook and website for updates of re-scheduled date.

The Lucozade Sport Club Crusade promotion has now finished.

Subscription of €2 per player (up to and including minors) per week for training.

Please make sure you bring your full kit (shorts, track bottoms, boots, sports top/hoodie/coat, drink).

Remember a mouth guard is needed for training sessions as well as matches.

Reminder that the use of mouthguards is now compulsory for all players.

Naomh Colmcille Weekly Lotto.

This week’s numbers are 5, 8, 9, 19, 24 and the most correct winners (matching three numbers) are Matthew O’Brien, Sharkey Signs and Geraldine McFadden who win €25 each. Next week’s jackpot €6,000.

The Lotto is the main regular source of fundraising for the club so if you can spare some time to help out it would be greatly appreciated.
