More than 800 runners and walkers took part in today’s Donegal Marathon in what proved to be a fantastic occasion in Letterkenny.
The organising committee pulled out all the stops to help start what could now be an annual event.
From the serious runner to the first timer, everyone got something from today’s event.
Pockets of spectators lined the 26.2 mile route and encouraged participants throughout.
And awaiting at the Aura Leisure Centre was a welcome worthy of any marathon finish.
