GAA NEWS: MAC CUMHAILLS SENIOR HURLERS DEFEAT ST EUNANS IN THRILLING ENCOUNTER

Sean MacCumhaillsSENIOR HURLING

The Senior hurlers took on St Eunans in the second round of the Championship.

In a pulsating match Mac Cumhaills emerged victorious by the slenderest of margins. FT Mac Cumhaills 1-13 St Eunans 1-12.

UNDER 16 HURLING FINAL

The lads took on Letterkenny Gaels in the league final in Convoy. We started well and took control of the game from the start. We lead from start to finish.

Jamie De Ward put in a man of the match performance. great performance from the lads. Well done to all the lads and coaches. FT Mac Cumhaills 3-16 LK Gaels 1-09.

GOLF CLASSIC.

Many thanks to everyone who was involved with our Annual Golf Classic last Fri. We had grbig numbers out and a great day was had by all. Special thanks to all our sponsors.

CHARITY CURRY NIGHT

The club held its second annual Curry Night on Sat night. The club decided to have it as a charity night in aid of Oisin Merritt.

A large crowd turned out to sample the currys from all the takeaways in the town. It was a very close vote with two winners emerging.

The China Tower and The Navenney Grill were crowned Best Currys in the Twin Towns.

Massive thanks to all the takeaways for participating. Special thanks goes to Mickey Patton for organising the night.

UNDER 8 FOOTBALL

The U-8 Mac Cumhaills footballers took on neighbours Glenfin this morning.We had 3 teams playing (2boys + 1girls).All 3 teams put on great performances.A big thanks to all parents who contributed/helped with food and tea.Thanks also to all coaches and the 3 refs.

DONEGAL

Best of luck to Jim and the lads on Sunday. Dun Na nGall Abu.

LOTTO RESULTS.

There was no winner of this weeks Lotto. Numbers drawn were 3,17,24 and 29. There were 3 match 3 winners.Kathleen O Hagan, Gary Dunnion and Johnny Brady receive €50 each. Next weeks jackpot is €10,000.

This weeks Bingo is in the Villa Rose. Over €9,000 can be won.
