Well done to all the North West athletes who competed in the Donegal Half Marathon and Marathon in Letterkenny at the weekend.

On a tough course there was great numbers from the club and superb performances from all who ran on a good day for running, good organisation and a great atmosphere.

It was brilliant to see a podium finish for Noel Diver, Meenaleck who had a great run to finish third with Kevin Mc Gee, Dungloe close behind in 4th.

In the Ladies section, Roisin Diver, Meenaleck had a great run to finish 2nd making it a double podium finish for the talented Diver family from Meenaleck.

This was the first time at a half marathon for a few and personal bests were achieved for others on the day.

Overall great showing from the club, great support from people who went out to watch and overall a great day. Great credit to Letterkenny AC for a great event.
