Donegal TV star and new mum Michelle Doherty has told her friend Glenda Gilson that she is simply too tired to attend her wedding!

The former TV3 presenter, who is from Carndonagh, gave birth to her first baby on August 7th last.

Her pal and fellow Xpose host Glenda is due to tie the knot in Clare on Friday.

But Michelle said Glenda texted her and asked her if she fancied going to the wedding in Doonbeg.

“I was like ‘Glenda I haven’t slept in days.

“It’s a pity, I’d love to be there, and I’m sure Glenda will be an absolute babe on the day,” she said.

Michelle, 36, who lives in London with baby Max and partner Mark O’Shea, said she is in no rush to run down the aisle herself.

Mark asked me if I wanted a wedding or a baby first, and I said a baby.

“There’s plenty of time for that, but a wedding certificate wouldn’t make me any happier than I am now,” said Michelle.
