Our ladies team suffered heartbreak when they lost 3-2 to Greencastle FC in the Ulster Ladies cup final.

Trailing 2-0 they equalised in the final minute only to lose to an injury time goal.

Scorers were Lauren Harper and Caroline Gallagher.

They travel to Tipperary town on Sunday 28th September to face Tipperary Town in the WFAI Junior cup final.

We also had an u/12 team competing in the blitz in Ballyare. Our schoolboys teams started their season on Saturday.

Despite putting on a good performance our u/16’s eventually lost 3-0 to Raphoe Town.

Our u/12’s beat Raphoe Town 1-0 with a late goal from Matthew Peoples. Next weekend our u/16’s play Drumkeen while our u/12’s facve Fintown Harps.

In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 8,10,11 and 18. Two people, Noeleen Parkinson and Micky Mc Grath, had three numbers and won e25 each.

Congratulations and best wishes to Darren and Ami Boyle who got married over the weekend.
