SOCCER NEWS: LAGAN HARPS LADIES FACE TIPPERARY TOWN IN WFAI JUNIOR CUP FINAL

Our u/12 and u/16 boys were in league action at the weekend.

Our u/12’s travelled to Fintown, on Friday night, and came back with a point in a hard fought 0-0 draw.

Killian Gribben and Caoimhin Wheeler were our best players on the night.

Our u/16’s lost 3-2 to Drumkeen despite scoring two excellent goals through Codey Brogan and Jack Parke.

John O’Donnell, Iarlaith and Karol Mc Ginley were our best players.

In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 1,8,18 and 21.

Micky Mc Grath( for the third time in five weeks) had the most numbers (3) and won e50.

This weekend our mens team are away to Rathmullen Celtic in the FAI Junior cup.

Our u/16’s are away to Convoy Arsenal and our u/12’s are home to Ballybofey Utd, on Saturday.

Our ladies team travel to Tipperary to play Tipperary Town in the WFAI Junior cup final.

A supporters bus is going on Sunday morning. Anyone interested in travelling should contact Brid Mc Ginty.
