The Colaiste Ailigh and Finn Valley captains meet before the game.

Colaiste Ailigh win their first game on the new pitch against Finn Valley yesterday in a mens senior league game.

Colaiste Ailigh opened the scoring through a point from Sean MacAtsaoir. Colaiste Ailigh were on top for the majority of the first half and Brian MacAtsaoir scored the opening goal.

The teams went in at half time with Colaiste Ailigh 3-8 to 0-3 with corner forward Corrie-Lee Bogan scoring 2 of Finn Valleys points.

Shortly after halftime the corner forward added to his tally with a smashing goal.

Colaiste Ailigh held Finn Valley off for a comfortable victory in the end.

Thanks to referee Gearóid Mac Aoidh and umpires Cathal Mac Grianna, Uinseann Mac Fhloinn, Prionsias Ó Dubhlaoich, Adreain Ó Shiail also lines men Conchur Ó dochartaigh and Riann Mac Diarmada.
