GAA NEWS: DEFEATED GLENSWILLY GATHER AGAIN FOR GAME AGAINST BUNDORAN

GLENSWILLY NOTESGlenswilly GAA Club

The Senior Championship got underway on Sunday last with a home tie to Kilcar but unfortunately both teams suffered narrow defeats. The next round of games is Saturday Oct 4th away to Bundoran with throw in at 4pm for the Reserves and 5.30 for the Seniors.

Our U13 boys were up in Malin last Friday evening in the league and recorded a great victory, next up is Burt at home Wed1st Oct at 6.15 pm. This is the boys last league game of the year.

The winning Lotto numbers this week are 3,6,10,11. and this weeks winner is Danny Mc Glynn from Glenfin. The Jackpot now stands at an inviting €5260. This weeks seller is Hughie Mc Daid.

The club has been granted a Licence to run bingo in the hall and there is a meeting to discuss same on 8th October at 9pm.It is hoped as many as possible will attend to share ideas and experiences, if you have any thoughts or queries please contact Paul Lapsley on 086 8222887.

The Boxing is now underway with training every Monday and Wednesday night.: The Battle of the Swilly 2 : will take place on the October Bank Holiday Sunday 26th in the Silver Tassie Hotel, tickets and further details will be released shortly.

Anyone interested in The Caretaker role at the Club under the Community Employment Scheme, can contact Sharon Mc Ginty on 086 3629737. In order to apply you must be in receipt of Unemployment Benefit for 12 months.

The winners of the girls underage draw were, Thos Mollay,Ollie Fitzpatrick,Julia Mc Fadden and Keith O Grady.
