SOCCER SNIPPETS: LAGAN HARPS U12’S DEFEAT CONVOY IN SFAI CUP

Our u/12’s were our only team in action last weekend.

They travelled to Convoy and came away with a hard earned three points, after a 1-0 win.

Mark Bonner was the goalscorer. In the National cup they have been drawn away to Monaghan side Carrick Rovers.

In a great team performance, Killian Gribben, Osa Emma Braines, Oisin Toye, Jordan Mc Hugh and Caoimhin Wheeler excelled.

Our u/14’s are scheduled to start their league campaignnext week.

Our u/16 girls have been drawn away to Colga Fc, from Galway, in the WFAI u/16 cup.

In our weekly lottos the numbers drawn were 6,14,15 and 20, Three people had three numbers with Bryan Kelly drawn out and winning E50.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Oisin Crawford who was injured in a recent accident.

Lagan Harps FC Quiz and Auction

The club are hosting a quiz night in the Mount Errigal on Saturday 25th July starting at 9.00pm. Prizes include flat screen TV’s.

There will also be a raffle and auction with numerouse valuable items, including concert tickets, autographed photos..etc. There will be dancing afterwards. Further details will be made available next week.
