DDTV: TAKING TO THE SKIES IS ‘PLANE’ EASY FOR BLIND DONEGAL WOMAN

Watch this incredible video above, which shows Donegal girl Jennifer Doherty fly a plane, even though she’s blind!

Jennifer shows that just because you’re disabled doesn’t mean you can’t fulfil your dreams.

The video is truly inspirational, and in the video clip Jennifer explains why she partook in the daunting challenge of flying a plane.

In the video, Jennifer who works in the Donegal Centre for Independent Living, says, “I wants the people of Donegal to help support our organisation, who strive every day to promote inclusion, choice and control amongst disabled people and our community.

“But like many disability groups we need to raise funds, but we strongly believe in doing it in a way that promotes a positive image of disabled people, we want to create a positive perception not a charitable one.

Former Finn Harps legend Shane Bradley also makes an appearance in the video and he’s on hand to support Jennifer as she undertook her challenge.

To watch simply click play on the video above, and enjoy.

This will really brighten up your day! 🙂
