Naomh Conail have squeezed past Ardara to book a place in the Senior Championship semi-final this Sunday.GAA BALL

The Glenties side went in ahead at the break 0-7 to 0-2 and looked to be in cruise control.

When Leon Thompson made it 0-8 to 0-2 after the restart, it could have been curtains for Ardara.

However a spirited comeback in the second half culminating in a goal from Ryan Melly gave them a chance.

However, Naomh Conail managed to hold their composure to squeeze home on the slimmest of margins on a final scoreline of 0-9 to 1-5.

Glenties meet Glenswilly at O’Donnell Park on Sunday in what promises to be a war of attrition.
