Senior Football

Congratulations to the Seniors who capped their replay win over St Naul’s in the quarter final to beat Naomh Brid in the semi’s.

The game was played in Convoy on Saturday night and was a close affair but the Buncrana men came out on top 2-11 to 0-15.

It wasn’t to be such good news for the Reserves who lost out to a stronger Naomh Brid side earlier in the day in O’Donnell Park. Still, it was a great achievement for them to get so far and will give them great encouragement to push on in the future.

Senior Training

Seniors & Minors Hurling training is on Wednesdays at 7.00pm. All players are urged to make every effort to attend.

Seniors, Reserves, U-18, & U21 Football training is on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 7.30 in the Scarvey. New players always welcome!

Cursa Gaeilge

Plaza Halloween Dance

Much thanks to everyone who came along to our fundraising dance and Ceilidh in the Plaza last Sunday night.

It was a good night’s fun and great to see so many turning up. Thanks to everyone who sold and bought tickets, helped to set everything up in the Plaza, brought refreshments along and especially the organisers and those on the door.

The Club genuinely appreciates all your efforts and the money raised will go a long way to paying our bills and keeping us going for another year.

Under Age Reports

Congratulations to Bord na nOg who organised an amazing presentation day in the Plaza on Saturday.

Well done to all the Children who received awards and Michelle Ferguson and Dillon Duffy who won the signed jerseys.

A massive ‘Thank You’ has to go out to the Bord Na nOg Chairman Aidan Mulholland and his team for organising such a brilliant day that was a success from start to finish.

The team did great work in securing the special guests on the day Aidan Fogarty, Graham Geraghty, Darach O Connor, Caolan McGonagle & John Campbell.

No doubt meeting their heroes will inspire many of the kids in their future GAA careers.

Thanks also to MC Nicholas Crossan, all the photographers, The Plaza, and a special vote of gratitude to the event sponsors, Marcoy Ceilings Ltd.

Also thanks to anyone who helped in any way and all the parents and children for turning up and making it such a special day.

Congratulations to Vanessa Nelson, Courtney Clare, Ciara Doherty, Sophie “Roe” Doherty and Shannon Hegarty who were all selected as part of the Donegal Development Squad ( under 14).

The squad competed in an Ulster Blitz in Tyrone on Saturday.
