DONEGAL GARDA TREATED AFTER BEING BITTEN BY PRISONER

GARDA LOGO 3A GARDA has been treated by doctors after being bitten by a woman who was due to appear in court.

The incident happened at Donegal Town court house.

The woman – with an address in Letterkenny – has been in custody facing other charges.

She was taken to Donegal Town court yesterday for an appearance and lashed out at gardaí, biting one of them during the incident.
