Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal – South Donegal Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal.

Thank you to everyone who helped in anyway in processing the boxes – the checkers, packers, drivers, lifters, as well as everyone who contributed fillers, donations and of course the shoeboxes themselves.

The South Donegal Team processed 2165 boxes last week in Dunkineely and transported them up to the Letterkenny centre where they await shipment to Eastern Europe.

An amazing effort – over 350 more boxes than last year – we are so excited that so many more needy children will be able to open a Christmas present this year thanks to the generosity of the people of South Donegal!

We will let everyone know when they leave Ireland and what Eastern European country they are heading for.

Dunkineely Community Ltd (DCL) – Has a library of over 500 books from Children’s Literature, Teenage Fiction (The Fault in our stars), Classics (Jane Austen – Pride and Prejudice), Horror, Comedy, Booker-Prize etc. Rent a book from just 20c.

Come into the office weekday mornings from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm and use the Internet (20c per half hour) or print or photocopy documents (20c per page).
