Letterkenny Gaels held their underage Hurling & Camogie presentations on Saturday past at the Clubhouse at the Glebe. A large crowd of children & parents gathered as Marty Mc Grath of Burt & Donegal fame presented the medals & certificates to the children.
Special presentations were also made to the following Camogie players:
1. Woodland school team with Cumann na Bunscoil County Camogie Shield.
2. Secondary school girls.
3. Players player of the year joint winners Una Quinn and Caoimhe Doherty.
4. Feile Camogie skills winner Eimear Quinn
5. Ulster Camogie shield winners Donegal U-14s squad members Eimear Quinn, Ellen Quinn and Caoimhe Doherty
6. U-16 All Ireland Camogie runners up medal to Una Quinn.
Special Hurling presentations went to Patrick Page for U-14 player of the year while Patrick Sweeney lifted the U-16 title. There was also a special presentation to the U-16 lads who were runners up in the Championship.
The clubs Young Whistlers also got presented with their certificates.
The large number of children who attended the presentations is a reflection of the hard work of all our Hurling and Camogie coaches within the club.
