BODY OF MAN WITH STRONG DONEGAL CONNECTIONS FOUND IN SWEDEN

The body of missing Sligo man with strong Donegal connections has been recovered off Gamla Stan in Stockholm, Sweden.

Brian Farrell: his body was found in Sweden.

Brian Farrell, who has many relations in the Kerrykeel area, was last seen on the night of 10 November.

His body was recovered from the water off Gamla Stan today near where he was last seen.

In a statement issued today, his family and fiancée Lorraine thanked the rescue services, the Irish Embassy, his employers ICDS Construction and his friends in Stockholm for their help.

A post mortem examination will be carried out in Sweden.

His family said funeral arrangements will be made in due course and have appealed for privacy.
