Minister of State for the Gaeltacht, Joe McHugh has announced a further grant of €17,208 for Cumann Lúthchleas Gael na nDúnaibh
He said the further grant of €17, 208 for Cumann Lúthchleas Gael na nDúnaibh to enable them to carry out improvement works on their football pitches in Na Dúnaibh.
This brings the total grant to €60,228 sanctioned for this project.
Announcing the grant Minister McHugh said “I hope that the sanctioning of this grant will assist the efforts of Cumann Lúthchleas Gael na nDúnaibh to promote the Irish language in the club and in the local area, especially among young people, while preparing for Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta, which they will host in 2018. I am very pleased that I was in a position to provide the grant.”
