soccer-ballLagan Harps FC News

Our men’s team bounced back from their defeat to Keadue with a 5-0 win away to Whitestrand Utd. Stephen O’Donnell(3), Oran Mc Macken and Chris Toner were the scorers.

This Sunday we are at home to league contenders Kilmacrennan Celtic at 2.00pm.

Our u/16’s lost 4-1 to Convoy Arsenal with Jack Duffy scoring. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Eoin Mc Laughlin who was injured in the game.

Our u/14’s lost 3-1 away to Castlefin Celtic with Oisin Bonner scoring.

We had three u/8 and u/10 teams competing in a blitz with Mulroy Academy in Kerrykeel. Our girls teams were also in action in the winter league. Our u/16 girls have been drawn at home to Salthill Devon in the next round of the National cup. The club and community suffered a great loss with the passing of Margaret Gibson. She was a great fundraiser for the club over the years and has a number of family members participating at all levels in the club. Sincere sympathy to all her family and friends. The club also extends sympathy to the Hegarty and Woods families on their recent tragic losses. In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 3,22,23 and 24. Noel Bonnar had three numbers and won E50.
