A huge congratulations to Patrick Marry, Mullach Dearg and Leah Mc Garvey, Cnoc an Stolaire, Gaoth Dobhair who competed in the All Ireland Cross Country Ch’s at Dundalk I.T. on Sunday last.

Both represent the club and Donegal. Well done!!!

Congratulation to Ciaran McGonagle who was selected for the Donegal team to run in the All Ireland Novice Championships in Santry Dublin on December 7th. It’s been an impressive year to date for Ciaran.

A new Fit4life session started in early November in the gym RCS, Dungloe with coach Sinead Diver.

Fit4life is a programme for all whether you are a complete beginner or a regular jogging/runner. The programme will help you to achieve improved levels of fitness and wellness within the club structure in a fun, sociable environment. Training sessions allow runners/walkers to train at an appropriate level. There is progression from Walking to Jogging to Running. No previous experience is needed. Fit4life group meet at Carrickfinn track on Saturday mornings at 10 am with coach Sinead Diver. New members welcome.

Sportshall Athletics continues on Mondays in Gweedore from 6-7pm and in the gym RCS, Dungloe at 6.45 – 7:45pm for children born 2007 and older.

For Health and Safety reasons we cannot accommodate children born 2008 or younger. Fee €2.

Please feel free to come along and join the adult group who do a long run in the forestry every Sunday morning at 11am. Meet at the Blue Bridge, Arduns, Gweedore.

Some upcoming events are: Dec 7th – All Ireland Even Ages and Novice C.C. Championships, Santry Dublin. Dec 4th – 5k in Letterkenny at 9:30pm. Dec 14th – Turkey Trot Letterkenny. Dec 16th – Goal Mile, Letterkenny. Dec 26th – Darren Mills Memorial 5k – Viking House.
