In her acceptance speech, Margo said, as a Lettekenny native, she was delighted, honoured and very proud to be Lady Captain. She praised the many ladies from around Ireland who have captained this club as she had to go back to 2004 to find the last Letterkenny native as Captain. She was looking forward to a great year and building on the strength of past Captains and committees, who in their capacity have brought the Ladies Club to where it is to-day. She welcomed her Vice Captain, Jackie Ireland and introduced her committee to the ladies. A healthy discussion took place under AOB giving many members the opportunity to air their views. The meeting closed with refreshments for the ladies.
