Jim McGuinness will give a presentation at the GAA Games Development Conference at Croke Park early next year.

Former Donegal manager Jim McGuinness will be one of a number of high profile names in Irish sport who will provide a presentation at a GAA Games Development Conference.

The list of speakers was announced at the official launch of the GAA Games Development Conference yesterday by GAA president Liam O’Neil.

McGuiness is one of the most high profile sportsmen in Ireland following the remarkable job he done with Donegal since taking the job in 2010.

The amazing transformation of the Donegal team under his stewardship prompted Celtic FC to employ McGuinness as a sports performance psychologist with the club’s academy.

McGuinness is now working closely with Celtic’s first-team after gaining a promotion from the academy under new manager Ronnie Delia.

However, due to work commitments McGuinness will have to give the presentation via a video link.

Other notable speakers at the GAA conference are former Olympic medallist Sonia O’Sullivan, former Dublin hurling manager Anthony Daly and Kilkenny hurling star Richie Hogan.

The conference takes place on the 9th and 10th of January 2015.
