Lagan Harps FC News:
Congratulations to ladies and girls team’s manager Brid Mc Ginty who won an Appreciation award at the Donegal Sports Awards on Friday night.
This is well deserved for all the work Brid does with the Donegal Womens league, at national level and with Lagan.
Our mens team missed a chance to close the gap on league leaders Castlefin Celtic when they dre 2-2 with Copany Rovers in Ballyshannon. Goalscorers were Austin Marron and Gerard Hilley.
Next Sunday we are at home to Castlefin Celtic at 2.00pm. The club also received good news with Ciana Brogan, Caoimhe Walshe and Zoe Green selected for the Irish u/16 girls team taking part in a tournament in February. In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 11,15,22 and 24. Charlotte Curran had three numbers and won E50. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Packie O’Donnell and John Gillen, who have been in hospital recently.
