The first all-county league game for the senior team will take place away to Glenswilly this weekend. The reserves throw in @1pm while the Seniors start at 2.30.
The minors had a good win vs Killybegs at the weekend on a scoreline of 3-14 to 0-3. The team looked good throughout with Ryan Greene scoring 2-5, Seam mc Monagle 1-2, Nathan White 0-3, Hugh Moy, 0-2 and a point each from Ryan Connors, Mathew Ward and Ryan Mc Gonagle. Best on the day, Brian O Donnell, Mark Curran, James Mc Cole, Ryan Connors, Sean Mc Monagle and Ryan Greene.
The next monthly meeting of CLG An Clochan Liath is on Tuesday the 24th of March @ 8.30 in the clubhouse.
CLG An Clochan Liath Minor Board will be holding an information evening on Friday the 20th of March in the Burtonport Community Centre at 7.30pm. This evening is open to all children from age 5-18. All parents are invited to come along to discover what we have planned for our 2015 season. We look forward to seeing students from the numerous schools in the area; including Keadue, Belcruit and Acres.
The Under 14 and 16 hurlers travel to Kilkenny this weekend to participate in, and watch hurling. Tuesday the 24th of March will see the start of the Donegal All County Secondary School’s Competition for 1st and 2nd years. The Rosses Community School will be competing in this competition for the first time. Thursday the 26th of March is the start of the league for the Under 14 Dungloe-Gweedore combined.
