Donegal County Council were last night gritting some roads with temperatures expected to plunge.
Gritters were back on Donegal’s roads last night.
Indeed many parts of the county awoke to a light dusting of snow on Saturday and Sunday morning – just days after blistering sunshine.
Both Errigal and Muckish were visibly white with some light snow on many parts of higher ground.
Although today and tomorrow is expected to be cold and windy, the good news is that the weather is expected to get much better towards the end of the week temperatures in the high teens due by the weekend.
Don’t put away the suncream just yet!
