IT’S the world’s most spectacular race (well we think so anyway) – and the Ballyliffin Coastal Challenge is back for 2016.
The 10-miler returns on Easter – on Saturday March 26.
It’s all systems go and the event regarded as amongst the most scenic in the world has a 1pm start (they’ve checked the tides).
Events such as this are a very positive addition to the opportunities available to tourists and locals alike and highlight the beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way and more particularly the beauty of this immediate area of Inishowen.
There’s always a fun element – so walkers are more than welcome on the day.
Throw in TWO world class golf courses and the Famine village and you immediately have a family package!
The children’s races on the Beach which proved such good fun previously will be repeated and entry is free
It’s a family day out in every respect.
