Dunfanaghy Golf Club Notes:
It was another weekend of reasonably good weather at Dunfanaghy this weekend and there was plenty of golf throughout. Colin Higgs was narrowly beaten on BOT by Michael Kelly in the Monthly Medal Competition on Sunday the 17th of January.
Well done for Michael for picking up another Monthly Medal Competition.
In another closely fought competition John Chambers and Paul Smyth won the Saturday Open Four Ball Competition on the 16th of January narrowly beating Shane Scanlon and J.P Clarke on BOT.
John and Paul, two of the Club’s biggest supporters birdied the last three holes to come out on top. Well done also to the other prize winners during the week.

Good luck to the Gaeltacht League Team who are at home to Portnoo this Saturday.

Function Room for Private Parties:
We have hosted a number of private functions in the clubhouse recently and these have proved to be a great success. If you, or someone you know, is organising a private function please be aware that the clubhouse is available free of charge, with exclusive use for the occasion. So far, the feedback that we have been getting is that the golf club is the ideal venue for parties of up to one hundred people. Please make contact with Sarah if you are interested in holding a function at the clubhouse (074 91 36335).
