Mulroy College 3 East Glendalough 1

Mulroy College from Milford have reached another all Ireland final in soccer after their senior girls soccer team defeated East Glendalough from Wicklow in the all Ireland semi-final in Monaghan.

Mulroy started the game very strong with them going close in the opening minutes.

The girls continued to dominate the play and broke through with a goal from Caoimhe Walsh in the 17th minute.

A second goal came in the 34th minute from Nicola Devenney who was rewarded for all her hard work previously.

Mulroy scored a third goal in the second half from Zoe Green after some excellent play down the left side.

East Glendalough continued to battle and were rewarded with a goal half way through the second half.

Mulroy were unfortunate not to get a fourth with a number of chances from Walsh and Green. It was a fantastic team performance from the Mulroy girls.
