ATHLETICS: It’s the question on everyone’s lips at the moment in underage athletics – and that is, ‘Who will be crowned the fastest Kid in Donegal?’

On-going trials are happening throughout the county with visits to Gael Scoil, Leitir Ceanainn, Lurgybrack and St Eunans and Raphoe today.

The visiting team headed up by Olymic manager Patsy Mc Gonagle and school coaches Hollie Duddy, Sharon Bradley, Dermot Mc Granaghan and Oisin Cannon was greeted with great excitement and quite a degree of noise as all in the u8 category boys and girls tried out.

Patsy Mc Gonagle expressed his thanks to each of the schools that he has engaged with today and Monday still to go – we look forward to an energetic gathering at Finn Valley AC next Tuesday night 6pm when that initial question will be answered.
