Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes – 25th January 2016
St Brigid’s Cross Making Night
The annual St Brigid’s cross making night takes place this year on Friday, 29th of January in the clubhouse, commencing at 7.30pm. Irish stew will be served on the night with funds raised going to the ‘acros’s charity. Crosses will be cut from the fine pastures of South Donegal this week and flown over especially.
AGM
Tir Chonaill Gaels AGM will take place on Saturday, 20th February at 4.30pm at the clubhouse. Nominations to be sent to Michael Mullen, forms have been sent out during the week past.
Good Luck
The club sends our best wishes to long serving member and player Austy Concannon who is departing the bright lights after many years in the capital and returning home to Ireland. Austy’s association with the club goes back to 2003 when he first donned the jersey and he has been an exceptional servant to the club as a player and and mentor in recent years. We wish him the very best and he will always be welcome back to Pairc Tir Chonaill.
