Eamonn O’Boyle

Naomh Muire GAA Club have appointed former St Eunan’s manager Eamonn O’Boyle as their Senior team manager for the 2016 season.

Eamonn O’Boyle is one of the county’s most successful club managers over the past ten years having won 3 Senior Championships and 4 Division 1 League titles with St Eunan’s.

Eamonn is currently a staff member at the LYIT, where he is currently managing both Ladies and Men’s Senior teams, this is a return to Senior club management for the Ballina native.

This is an ambitious appointment by CLG Naomh Muire where Eamonn will be joined by Gary Boyle, last year’s manager, who will act as his No 2. A strength and conditioning coach will be announced later in the week.

CLG Naomh Muire narrowly missed out on a Senior Championship quarter final place in last year’s competition but the appointment of Eamonn O’Boyle shows a steely determination to build on the great work by Gary Boyle, Michael Gallagher and Kevin White and remain at Senior level.
