BOXING: There was joy for Letterkenny ABC at the weekend – when talented young boxer Paddy McShane landed an Ulster title.
McShane had boxed skilfully throughout the competition and has a bright, bright future in the sport.
He delivered an assured, controlled and excellent performance in yesterday’s Nine Counties final.
McShane, who fights at 36kg has been training very hard for a number of months.
Secretary for Letterkenny ABC, Mandy Douglas told Donegal Daily, “Paddy puts in a big effort all the time in training and is one of our most dedicated boxers.
“We’re delighted his hard work and dedication has paid off, and we are all so happy he won this Ulster title.”
