CYCLISTS RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AFTER SERIOUS SMASH

accidentBREAKING NEWS: At least three cyclists have been rushed to hospital following a road accident in Kilmacrennan this morning.

The accident happened around 9am this morning at Millbridge after a car and a group of cyclists collided.

Eye-witnesses said she seen at least three cyclists lying on the side of the road.

Another eye-witness revealed how several bikes were badly damaged in the crash.

Ambulances and Gardai rushed to the scene and at least three injured cyclists were rushed to Letterkenny General Hospital.

The cyclists were assessed and treated before being taken to hospital.

The cyclists are form a well-known local triathlon club.

The extent of their injuries is not yet known but it is understood all of those injured are conscious and responding to medics.
