JOE MCBREARTY TO HOST COACHING SESSION AT FOUR MASTERS GAA CLUB

Club Notes:

Coaching: Joe Mc Brearty will be in Tirconaill this Saturday from 2pm taking coaching session for all underage football  coaches. The session is open to everyone in the club and to coaches from other clubs. The club hosted a foundation football course at the weekend with three new coaches completing the course.

Bord na nóg Membership: Shirley Doherty will be collecting membership again on Tuesday 16th of February from 8pm to 9pm .All underage players registered before February 17th will be put into a draw for a years membership .

Indoor Coaching: This continues every Tuesday night in the AVS gym from 5.45pm to 6.45pm . Its open to boys aged 5and 6 years of age with it costing €2 per session.

LGFA referee course: An LGFA refresher level 2 referee course will be held on Thursday 25th February 2016, for those that have completed level 1 and for those refereeing in ladies football or currently refereeing in the GAA – aged 17 and over. Time and venue to be confirmed – 3 hours duration .

Senior board   monthly meeting Monday 29th February at 8.30 pm in the abbey .All club members welcome .

 

Awards night: The awards night will take place on Saturday the 20th of February  2016 in Dom’s Pier 1 . Tickets €25 each and are available through any club officer.

 

Club Adult membership: €30.00 + €20.00 development levy for adult members is now due for 2016 season. Payable to senior Register Shirley Doherty 0873140486 or Paul Timoney Treasurer 0872791305 . Note to all senior men registration must be paid before yous go to play as yous are not insured to play or train.

 

Club Lotto: Renew Subscriptions, the club would ask all persons that are members of our lotto to pay annual subscription to sellers of to treasurer Paul Timoney 0872791305. New members are welcome with quarterly and half yearly subscriptions available.

 

Underage hurling: U10 & U12 hurling for 2016 is on every Friday at 6-7pm on the astro pitch in Tír Chonaill Park. The U10’s will have a number of indoor blitzes in

February. All new players welcome, hurl and helmet provided to new beginners.

 

 

Club Lotto: There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €4,500 in week 30 of the 2015/16 season draw held in the Abbey Hotel on  Monday the 8th of February. The €25 winners in the lucky dip were Philomena Caldwell, Upper Main Street, Gabrail O’ Donnell, Birchill, Manus Brennan, Drumkegan,and Robert Duncan, Drumrooske. The numbers drawn were 1, 7, 20 and 24, Congratulation to all winners. The next draw takes place on the 15th of February.
