ChrisMacManusSINN FÉIN has expressed anger and frustration after a number of the party’s election posters were deliberately targeted in a serious of co-ordinated attacks.

The banners were defaced and smashed up at a number of locations in the Sligo/Leitrim/South Donegal/West Cavan constituency.

One banner on the Bundoran Road was destroyed.

Candidate Chris McManus who is seeking a seat in the constituency said: “Someone went to the bother of picking up one of the posts and punching holes all away along the poster.

“Someone or some people went to a great deal of bother to do this. All the incidents took place on the same night which suggests this was organised.”
