The forecaster says it will be cold tonight with some frost and icy patches. Some sleet and snow showers at times too, especially on high ground, but there is also a risk at lower levels, with possibly between 1 and 3 cm locally. Parts of Ulster and Leinster are most at risk later tonight.
The warning is in place from midnight tonight until 10am on Friday morning.
Snow and sleet will turn to rain by lunchtime on Friday.
There will be bright or sunny spells in the afternoon with scattered showers of rain or hail. Top afternoon temperatures tomorrow of 5 of 8 C., but feeling colder in a stiff north to northeast wind.
